What up everybody.
It is freezing here in NYC! Like 8 degrees. I am not feeling too good this morning and I think it is because I quit drinking coffee a few days ago.. so I’ve told myself that in order to feel better I should just drink some coffee.. right? ;P
Today I roasted some cauliflower in coconut oil. yumm. It’s much better to cook with coconut oil or even butter, instead of olive oil, because olive oil becomes toxic when heated. It’s fine to throw over a salad or dip some bread in, but I don’t recommend cooking with it.
Give coconut oil a try. It’s good, I swear. It also makes a great body moisturizer, but i’ll warn you a little goes a long way or else you become a slip and slide.
I made a big green smoothie this morning with tons of kale. Kale is good to eat in the winter.
